Raphaël, how does it fail? Is there a specific error message?

I have not used Apple's JDK 6, it is not available for 32-bits Macs.

i bought a macbookpro in june.

Can you please share the proper way to configure the environment on mac (i come from ubuntu world)

i also tried soylatte, apple java 6, and apple java 5.
idea is running on appple jdk5 and i can run maven from idea using each of these.

But for some unknown reason, (i play with swing currently) the macjdk5 works, the soylatejdk6 works, but the macjdk6 fails.

I also hacked a little some softlinks in the /system/library/...JavaVm.../Versions and can't remember how to go back to before my modifications. (hence the question about proper usage) thus, trying to run freeform fails as it assume some environment i had inadvertantly destroyed.

Thanks
